This is one easy bread that does not require any skill or a bread maker! After watching “The Baker’s Son” on Hallmark Channel, I was totally in the mood for some fresh, warm bread! This was a great movie set in a small sea-side town where the baker’s son bakes the best bread when he’s in love! And you will fall in LOVE with this bread!!

  1. Pour all ingredients into Ziplock bag and knead gently until all ingredients are combined. Make sure to seal bag completely!
  2. Place bag into a bowl of hot water. If it starts to float, weigh it down with a dish. Let sit in bowl of hot water for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove from water and gently knead bag again. Now you will place the bag of dough on a counter and wrapped in a towel for 40 minutes.
  4. Remove dough from bag and gently knead on a floured surface until dough is not too sticky. Separate into three equal parts and roll into three "logs." Braid the three strands of dough and place on a baking sheet lined with non-stick foil or a silicone baking mat. Cover with a clean, dry dish cloth and let rise for another 25 minutes. PREHEAT OVEN to 375 degrees during this time.
  5. Beat an egg and baste an egg wash all over top of braided dough. Generously sprinkle "Everything Bagel" seasoning all over top. Bake at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes. Bread will be golden and sound hollow when tapped.
